World Mental Health Day
Today, we’re shining light on World Mental Health Day and World Homeless Day.
The latest Census data highlights the economic and social disadvantages affecting women at different life stages, and we see it every day at Dress for Success:
🧠 More than 1 in 10 Australians between the age of 15 and 54 reported suffering a long-term mental health condition (including depression or anxiety)
❤️🩹 More than 1 in 5 females between the age of 15 and 44 report suffering from one or more long-term health conditions
🚺 Today, there are over 20,000 homeless Australians aged 55 or over and women are massively over-represented within this population
Harrowing as they may be, these stats fuel us to support more women into work, financial security and well-being ♥️
